We got one of those on our door (on South Oxford St. in Fort Greene) as well, so Michael has a bit of a range.
I think that there was an article in NYPress about this phenonmenon a couple of weeks ago.
We got one a few months ago on Washington/Bergen. I threw it away, because my landlord just sold. Too late, Michael.
There was one in the lobby of our apartment building last month, so I assume someone took it off the front door and thought it was too good to throw away.

I lived on Bergen St. and this dude was my landlord. He lives in the neighborhood and has a couple of properties around p. heights. He put one on an apartment I moved into AFTER I moved out of his over-priced one. Not necessarily pertinent info, just thought y’all would like to know. He’s certainly harmless.
Wonder if he’s ever had any takers?
